Spirit: A Bathroom Furniture Set with a Harmonious Design

What sets the Spirit collection apart is its coordination of furniture and sanitary ware. The geometric rigor of the containers is balanced by the softness of the handles, which are prominently displayed on the surface plane. The collection is designed to accommodate the Lux Slim washbasins, which feature thin ceramic edges. This allows for the creation of wooden structures or shelves beneath the sink, providing additional storage space and a stylish resting surface made of decorated glass.

The production technology behind the Spirit collection is both innovative and environmentally sensitive. The wash basins are made using a slim 12mm thickness, reducing the amount of material used and increasing productivity. The smooth lines and matt glazed surface of the basins create a seamless and elegant look. The furniture in the collection features unique handles that are made using CNC technology. The blue lacquer used on the handles is fire-resistant and contains healthy ingredients, making it safe for use in a bathroom environment. The drawers are equipped with separators for easy organization and a daylight lighting system.

The Spirit collection offers a range of dimensions, with sanitary products available in widths of 50cm, 80cm, and 120cm. This versatility allows for customization and ensures that the collection can be tailored to fit any bathroom space.

Opus Design&Kale Bathroom Design Office, along with team members Nilo Gioacchini, Sara Zama, Sertaç Ersayın, Özgür Alp, and Fatih Mintaş, worked on the Spirit collection from the beginning of 2013 to February 2014. The design was inspired by the trend of slim edges and slim design language in the bathroom product sector. The collection embodies productivity, quality, and new ideas.

The Spirit collection has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category in 2014. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate exceptional expertise, innovation, and artistic skill. The Spirit collection is a testament to the level of excellence that can be achieved in bathroom design, evoking positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
